March 2018 – Cromaris, the leading Croatian bass and bream producer, has chosen Scotland’s Xelect Ltd as their provider of genetic services. Xelect will provide a complete package of genetic management to the selective breeding program in support of Cromaris’ continued advances in product quality, welfare and sustainability.
The Cromaris fish are bred at the company’s state-of-the-art hatchery in Nin, Croatia, and are recognizable for their superior quality. The partnership with Xelect will allow Cromaris to take advantage of the latest technologies in selective breeding to ensure their premium product continues to excel in the European market.
